Mercure Sydney Review
Mercure Sydney Review
There is only a handful hotel we stayed in Sydney and Mercure Sydney is one of them. The reason we chose Mercure Sydney is because of its location.
It is located next to the Central Station and it takes less than 10 minutes of walking to the station both for trains and light rails and it is also less than 2km from the CBD (Central Business District) and Darling Harbour. Both of them are within walking distance say less than half an hour.
Not forgetting that it is located just opposite China town and Hay Market and we love to eat in restaurants in that area especially the famous Malaysian restaurant Mamak as well supper at 9 Noodle House.
To be frank we didn’t use the facilities in the hotel as we spent most of our time venturing the city. Hence, we stayed a couple of nights in Mercure Sydney before we travelled to Blue Mountains.
The bedroom is spacious with two double beds and it comes with Free Wi Fi (depending on rooms) and flat screen as well as the tea and coffee making facilities.
We loved the welcome drinks, the James Boag beers and they are local Australian beer.
The bathroom comes with bathtub and Mercure brand toiletries. Thus the most important part is the bathroom is very clean.
We enjoyed our stay in Mercure Sydney especially with comfy beds and its strategic locations. Since we took utilise the trains a lot, it is very vital for us to stay near the station and Mercure Sydney is the ideal hotel for us. Book it at Agoda.com for the best rates.
