Affogato and Sandwich at Cosans Coffee
Affogato and Sandwich at Cosans Coffee
If you are talking about new cafes, you should take notice of Cosans Coffee. Opened last year, a wholly Malaysian owned brand name, Cosans Coffee is making its presence in Klang Valley with its outlet in Subang SS15 and Solaris. I was told that its Kota Damansara outlet should be ready in September with two more pending cafes opening by this year.
Cosans short of “coffee, sandwiches, senses” offers quality coffee, flavoured coffee and sandwiches. Today, I visited their Subang SS15 branch after I read so many positive reviews on this café. The Cosans Coffee is located at No 30 (Ground Floor), Jalan SS15/4, Subang Jaya, 47500 Petaling Jaya, Malaysia (opposite the market). You can easily park your car at the market or the designated car bays.
You can easily spot Cosans Coffee with its huge signboard. As you enter the café, you will be greeted by smiley staffs and the interior is beautifully designed with dim lights and comfortable ambience. Thus, this is an ideal place for chilling out, gathering or short discussions.
Cosans Coffee offers house blend featuring Brazil Yellow Bourbon, Guatemala Antigua beans blended with full bodied Sumatran Lintong. Hence, they also premium brew with seasonal coffee beans and please check with them for the coffee beans available. Their baristas are professionally trained so each and every single of cup is perfectly served.
I ordered my favourite café latte. For coffee tasting, it is always the second sip that decides the flavour of the coffee. I enjoyed their café latte.
Next, is their affogato. Affogato is another variation of coffee beverages and it is usually takes the form of a scoop of vanilla gelato or ice cream topped with a shot of hot espresso. It is slightly different from Vienna Coffee which use cream instead of ice cream or gelato. One of my most memorable Vienna Coffee was at 喫茶下下味亭 Review, Nara Japan
Cosans Coffee version of affogato comes with an additional pieces of OREO on top of the vanilla ice cream. I love the fact that it adds a different texture onto the affogato and it is one of the best I have tasted. You definitely need to try their affogato.
I didn’t taste their popular flavoured coffee but I did order their signature sandwich. It is the Blackcurrant Smoked Duck Sandwich. What’s so special? They use their homemade charcoal bread and it is getting popular now due to its natural goodness. Their version of charcoal bread is soft in texture and fluffy. Not forgetting also their thick slices of smoked duck compliments with their special blackcurrant sauce. Well, you will be surprised by the taste as it blends quite well. I don’t mind coming back for this again.
Great coffee and good sandwiches, there is no surprise Cosans Coffee is often packed with customers during peak and off peak hours. Hence, I realized that they have many return customers as I noticed quite a number of them are very familiar with their orders. If you want a cozy and quiet place for your crave for coffee, you should try out Cosans Coffee and also the affogato.
