If there is something you should visit in Gangnam Seoul, it should be Samsung D’Light. Samsung D’Light is a global exhibition space that showcases the latest product line up by Samsung Electronics. The word D’light is a combination of “digital” and “light”.The other meaning of “d” includes “dynamic”, “dream” or diversity. It is located within the Samsung Electronics building, one of three Samsung buildings in the area. Admission to the Samsung D’Light is FREE of charge and it is just a stone throw away from the Gangnam Subway station.

Within the three storey exhibition space, there are the digital lounge, the mobile plaza and the global gallery. This is the place to check out the latest products from Samsung Electronics and also you can try out the products too.

One of the products that caught my attention is the Samsung S9 Smart UHD (Ultra High Definition) TV. The UHD is 110 inch display comes with built in three “unseen” speakers and 2 sub woofers in its frame. On top of its unbelievable quality of 4x of Full HD, it comes with a jaw-dropping price tag of US$ 150,000 per unit!

Samsung S9 Ultra HD TV offers surreal UHD experience with unique and timeless design. Standing and watching the videos on Ultra HD TV is surreal and in actual fact the TV is very thin. Check out the video for the UHD TV video quality.

If you think getting the 110-inch UHD TV is equivalent of getting a cinema at home then you are wrong, this is indefinitely better than cinema! So far there is only a few units are sold in South Korea and hopefully this UHD TV will reach Malaysia soon.
