Well, there is another shopping mall is going to open by this month in Klang Valley. It is IOI City Mall, a brand new lifestyle and entertainment shopping mall with two blocks of office towers and a 5 star hotel.

It is located at Lebu IRC, IOI Resort City near the Serdang Hospital and UNITEN along the SKVE highway.

From its official website, the whole project cost RM 1.5 billion on 33.5 acres of land with 8 million square feet built up area with 7,200 car park bays.

I have included the tenant list below but the main tenant includes Parkson,  Golden Screen Cinemas and HomePro.

The total 1.4 million square feet of net lettable retails area of four levels with 350 specialty shops, anchor tenant includes of Golden Screen Cinemas (13 screens), Parkson and HomePro.

 

The other highlight of the mall is the Olympic size skating rink by IceScape Ice Rink. It is probably Malaysia’s first Olympic size skating rink and I am sure many ice skaters will be excited with this. The other ice skating rink now is Sunway Pyramid in Klang Valley.

The shopping mall is schedule to open on 20^th November 2014, probably the soft launch. I visited the mall and most of the shops are still in renovation and maybe fast enough to open gradually by this year.
