Silver Spoon at Publika Kuala Lumpur

It can’t be denied that I dined in Silver Spoon at Publika by chance as I was working near the restaurant a few weeks ago. I had dinner with my client there and they are located at Lot No 33, Level G2, Publika facing the The Square (near the entrance).

From the menu, they have quite an interesting fusion food. We ordered two pizzas and one risotto.

Oriental Smoked Duck Pizza

Oriental Smoked Duck Pizza comes with honey roasted duck layer with hoisin sauce topped with sliced pear, spring onion and light cheese. That’s what they wrote in their menu and to be frank I was expecting the typical roasted duck slices. Since it is the first time I am having this type of smoked duck with pizza,  I think it is quite nice actually. It is very oriental or Chinese flavour especially with hoi sin sauce and spring onion.

Great Ocean Shell Mix Pizza

Great Ocean Shell Mix Pizza is a combination of clam, mussel, baby scallop, prawn, onion, sundried tomatoes and cheese. I prefer this than the smoked duck pizza. It comes with generous amount of seafood as the above and I thought the taste is really good.

Mushroom Risotto

Their version of Mushroom Risotto is Spanish style risotto with fresh mushroom, chicken and blue cheese. Another big surprise as I find many restaurants in KL failed in delivering risotto.  Their creamy risotto with blue cheese is so tastefully done and it goes well with the chicken. I will definitely come back for this risotto.

Overall, I enjoyed the food and I thought it was really good especially the risotto. The price of the food is not really that high and will definitely come back again.
