Ramada Khao Lak Resort

Khao Lak might not be a familiar name but the resort beach town is one of the hidden gems in Thailand. Khao Lak is one and half hour away of Phuket International Airport by car. We prefer renting a car or else you can always arrange a shuttle from the hotel. Khao Lak is a beautiful town located in the province of Phang Nga.

There are dozens of resorts in Khao Lak and most of the tourists are from Europe and East Asia. We reviewed two resorts in Khao Lak so far, one of them is Casa de La Flora and Ramada Khao Lak Resort.

Ramada Khao Lak Resort is along the main beach and the property features 116 rooms with eight beach villas and eight pool villas. We stayed at the pool villa.

The pool villa is smartly built in the quiet side of the hotel area, hidden from the main building. The villa is surrounded with tall concrete walls and you can find total privacy within the walls.

The pool villa is huge and the door access to the huge bathroom that comes with a Jacuzzi bath tub, shower area and a huge wardrobe.

We love how they put the welcome note on the bed as well as the welcome fruits. It is a common small gesture to welcome the guest in many hotels.

The big surprise is how huge is the private Jacuzzi private pool. It can easily fit four to eight persons.

Not forgetting a small little quiet area to chill with total privacy. You can sunbath, skinny dipping or have a mini pool party with privacy. We dipped in the pool at night while enjoying a glass of beer, this is a real holiday.

The main swimming pool is also a beauty. It reflects the beautiful tall coconut trees overlooking the white sandy beach.

The pristine white beach of Khao Lak is an attraction itself. You can take your time off here relaxing, chilling and relax. This is the proper way of enjoying your holiday and maximising your stay in a beautiful resort like this.

What do we like about Ramada Khao Lak Resort Pool Villa?

We enjoyed the privacy, the space and the facilities of the pool villa. The bathroom is huge and spacious and it is a good thing. We love the private pool and even though it surrounded by tall concrete walls, privacy is a good thing here.

Remember to catch sunset at the beach which is less than 5 minutes of walking from the room. The swimming pool is another beautiful area to chill and relax.

There are plenty of facilities in this resort such as spa, gym, children room and more. You need to spend time in the resort to enjoy the facilities. Thus, overall the service is top notch and you will definitely miss the resort at the end of the day.

  1. I believe Ramada does keep their standards pretty well. I went to their Ramada hotel in some parts of indonesia a few times too 😉

  2. Own private pool & Jacuzzi? Damn..this must easily costs a bomb to stay a night lol. But at least can finally go skinny dipping without worrying, suitable for lovey dovey couples 😛

  3. The Hotel so comfortable. Last time I go Phuket, I stay at Patong area. The hotel is good but too bad the electricity tripping off.

  4. Wow, I like the beach near the villa hotel! It is suitable for couple who enjoy the honeymoon trip! I hope that my family and I will check this when we have chance to Thailand!
