5 Places Families in KL should go this Chinese New Year
Celebrating Chinese New Year in Kuala Lumpur? You know the feeling of a deserted town with empty highways and shop lots. Well fret no more I’m going to help you and your family have a great CNY.
1. Go to Taman Tasik Perdana with your family and have a picnic. There are beautiful lakes and gardens to take nice photos with your family. Plus there is a playground for the kids to run around.
2. Take a short drive to Le Bread Days Cafe to have some salted egg yolk croissants. YUMS!! OR go to Dragon I for their Chinese New Year Festive Dishes!
3. So the kids can’t seat still at home any longer? Guess what you should bring your loved ones and family to IPC Shopping Centre this year.
There are Five Element Monkeys, Chinese New Year Shows, Cherry Blossom Garden, Fun Workshops, Great Deals and Cool Giveaways only at IPC this Chinese New Year!
IPC’s Five Element Monkeys make up a family that consists of Papa Jinxu, Mama Tutti, Big Brother Höogan, Little Brother Muträ and Sister Shweedy. These five element Monkeys are cute, adorable and photographable.
For full performance and activities schedule, visit: www.ipc.com.my/apey-new-year . Do note their contest where you just have to take yourself posing your wackiest monkey pose to get a mystery gift and for the chance to win shopping vouchers! For those visiting on Saturdays, you are in for a treat with the Saturday Special Giveaways as well!
4. Can’t take the CNY heat – don’t worry just hit the Cinema for some family movie time. There are plenty of Chinese New Year Movies showing in the cinema!
5. Of course don’t forget to visit you family and friends who are also celebrating CNY in KL and go do all the activities together. Well CNY is about spending time with you family right? So call them and go together.
Wishing everyone a Gong Xi Fa Cai and a healthy and prosperous year ahead!
