Brolly New Weekday Lunch and Weekend Brunch Menu
Brolly New Weekday Lunch and Weekend Brunch Menu
You know the food is good when you back to the same restaurant again. Just after weeks of visiting Brolly, we revisited the restaurant and now they have launched a new brunch menu.
Where is Brolly?
Brolly is it is located at Menara Felda (within the prime area of KLCC). It is just a stone throw away from KLCC (Petronas Twin Tower) and it is within walking distance from KLCC and also Ampang Park LRT Station.
The concept of Brolly is unique as it is an umbrella restaurant houses nine restaurants under the same roof. There are Crab Factory, Ember & Ember BBQ, Raksaksa Mirai, Nove 9 Pizzeria, Moley’s Oyster Bar, My Wing Man, vari.EAT.y, Sweet Endings and Bang Bang Baller Bar. Brolly is part of the group of restaurants with Crab Factory in SS2 as well as Crab Hut Asia in CyberJaya. You check our previous review of Brolly at https://www.placesandfoods.com/2016/01/brolly-menara-felda-review.html
Recently, they introduced their new Weekday Lunch and Weekend Brunch menu and we went there again to check out what’s new in Brolly.
For Weekday Lunch, it is Mon to Friday from 12pm to 3pm. There are four Brolly’s Lunch Trays and we tried two.
Creamy Ayam Percik is served with shallot rice, sautéed vegetable, potato croquette and mixed fruits. We always a big fan of their version of ayam percik. The chicken is well marinated and seasoned as the meat is tender and it compliments well with the fragrant rice with fried shallot. Thus, the crunchy potato croquette will not disappoint you either.
The seafood fried rice is served with chicken skewers, sautéed vegetables, potato croquette and mixed fruits.
The seafood fried rice comes with generous amount of seafood such as squid and prawns. The fried rice is fragrant and we can finish a few bowls of the fried rice.
The set comes with gorgeous chicken skewers with Bulgogi sauce. Hence, the chicken skewers is tender and the taste is addictive.
For Weekend Brunch, it is Sat to Sun from 9 am to 3 pm. They have five items on their weekend brunch menu and we tried their Salmon and Scrambled Eggs as recommended by the manager. Of course, they serve Big Breakfast too for their weekend brunch menu.
Their version of Salmon and Scrambled Eggs is baguette with baby spinach, feta cheese, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. This is probably one of the best smoked salmon and scambled eggs in Kuala Lumpur. We love the taste of this. The scrambled eggs go perfectly with the smoked salmon and also the taste of the feta cheese. If you plan to come to Brolly for the weekend brunch, order this and trust us you have no regrets.
On top of their new weekday lunch and weekend brunch, we also ordered some of their new dishes on their new menu.
Lamb Moussake is a burger with juicy lamb patty topped with melted cheese served with fries. You can tell from the picture, the lamb patty is thick and juicy. The taste is heavenly and it is infused with the melted cheese. Simply gorgeous.
For Japanese food lovers, the Raksaksa Mirai’s Udon is something you should consider. Their version of Udon Australian Ribs Soup is a bowl of savoury udon. This is definitely for udon lovers.
This is the trio of Cubed Striploin, Chicken Thigh and Baby Octopus in Bulgogi Sauce. Grilled to perfection, you will be tempted to order more of this.
For dessert you should check the menu from Sweet Endings and since we had quite a lot of food, we only ordered one dessert.
Their waffle is hard in texture which is nice to bite and it goes really well with the ice cream. If you never tried butter scotch with waffle before, you should try this. This is a must order dessert in Brolly.
Remember, the Crab Factory Lunch Special Happy Hour Bags from RM 29 only! However, our tummies couldn’t fit any more food so maybe we will come back again.
What we like about Brolly at Menara Felda?
We love the variety of food available in Brolly. The love the choices of food from Crab Factory, Ember & Ember BBQ, Raksaksa Mirai, Nove 9 Pizzeria, Moley’s Oyster Bar, My Wing Man, vari.EAT.y, Sweet Endings and Bang Bang Baller Bar. It is like a food court but with proper food and ambience. Most important of all, the food is good!
Brolly is a great place for couples, families and even for event. You can book them for private event and functions. They have hosted many company functions last year and they have many positive reviews.
On seafood prices, they offer an honest valuation for their seafood. Maybe do not understand the market value of seafood prices nowadays. Just walk into the wet market and you will be surprised by the high prices of seafood nowadays. Things are not cheap anymore and furthermore restaurants need to cover high rental charges, overhead and operating costs. Thus, Brolly offers quality seafood and you know when you taste it. That’s why we don’t mind coming here from time to time.
Even though the restaurant is located within the prime area of KLCC, it is quiet and calm here. We always enjoy a little privacy for our dining experience. This is truly a hidden gem in the golden triangle of Kuala Lumpur.
