Four New Night Markets To Visit in Bangkok for 2016
Four New Night Markets To Visit in Bangkok for 2016
Bangkok is a shopping haven. There is no doubt about it. In the past we wrote about the Five Wholesale Markets to Shop in Bangkok and also other stories about Bangkok such as Top 8 Food Courts in Bangkok, Top 11 Rooftop Bars in Bangkok, TOP 7 Bangkok Riverside Hotels, Top 10 Bangkok Best Shopping Hotels and Top 12 Hostels and Hotels in Bangkok Under US$ 15 Per Night.
We recently visited Bangkok a couple of times in this few months to check out some of the new things in the city for content for our blog. There are couple of new cool places we found as well as new night markets in the city.
There is Four New Night Markets To Visit in Bangkok for 2016 and we are sure you never heard of them before. These night markets are relatively new even for the locals.
1. Talad Rod Fai 3 Kaset Nawamin (CLOSED in 2019)
You probably read about Talad Rod Fai Night Markets or the Train Night Markets on our blog. If not you can read about it at Talad Rot Fad Srinakarin Train Market and Talad Rod Fai Train Market 2 Ratchada.
If you have visited both the Talad Rod Fai Srinakarin and Ratchada, there is a third one Talad Rod Fai 3 Kaset Nawamin. It is located on Kaset-Nawamin Road, connecting to Sukhaphiban 1 Road. So far the flea market is open for the first phrase and the second phrase will be container zone and there will be a third phrase with train station only in this Kaset Nawamin market.
The concept of Talad Rod Fai Kaset Nawamin is similar with the other Talad Rod Fai night markets. The difference is it is located in the Kaset Nawamin area (near Lat Phrao) and it is quite far from the city.
You still can get plenty of shopping of fashion, local products and food. The beauty of Talad Rod Fai market is all the stalls are unique so you won’t be getting the similar products in most of the all stalls.
How to go to Talad Rod Fai 3 Kaset Nawamin
The nearest train station is MRT Lat Phrao and you can take a taxi from there. You can also take taxi from the city but it will cost more. Remember this is the latest Talad Rod Fai Market so many people still do not know about this place.

Want to visit a night market right in the middle of the Bangkok city? Well, there is a new night market and it is called The Neon Fest.
The Neon Fest started month and it is located in Lumphini Square. This is the latest night flea market in Bangkok and it will run until 31st July 2016 so it is only a few months left.
The concept of Neon Fest is similar to the other pop up night market, the Art Box. Yes, the Neon Fest is also another container flea market. The Neon Fest aimed to be the best container market with hundreds of booths which include fashion, food and shopping. This is another hipster market that targets both the locals and the tourist.
The Neon Fest opens from Thursday to Sunday from 5 pm to midnight. The best time to visit should be after 7pm. Remember, they are located in the city.

For those who are familiar with Bangkok, you should know that Suan Lum Night Bazaar closed five years ago.
Suan Lum Night Bazaar is reopened after they closed five years ago. There are now located at Ratchadaphisek with a brand new shopping mall.
The mall will hosts 1800 shops also include the Bazaar Hotel, a four star hotel with 800 rooms. The 125,000 square metre mall will also host a fitness centre, a boxing gym, water park, and magic and cabaret shows.
When we checked out the night bazaar, the mall is still not ready for public only some shops and McDonalds. They should be ready in April until further notice. You can still visit the night market but don’t expect much until they are fully opened. Upon completion, the mall expects to be the world’s longest mall in length stretching 1.5 kilometres.
The beauty of Suan Lum Night Bazaar is they open daily! Remember, they are still in midst of opening up their shops now so most shops are still not ready yet.

We found this night market by chance. The story is like this, we were supposed to visit the Talad Rod Fai Market 3 (Train Market 3) and somehow the taxi driver got lost and brought us to this hidden market. Thus, we were traveling with AroiMakMak.com as all of us were invited to watch the Madonna Rebel Heart Tour in Bangkok by Singha so we discovered a hidden gem!
It is located in Lat Phrao near Talad Rod Fai 3 Kaset Nawamin so it is far out from the city. You can only find locals here and almost no tourists.
You can find clothes, ladies accessories, hand made products, toys, phone accessories, brand replicas and most important of all, food stalls and restaurants. Some of the food stalls here offer really good food.
The beauty of Hua Muum Market is they open daily from 6pm till midnight and closed on Mondays. Come after 7pm as stalls usually need time to come in and setup.
How to go to Hua Muum Market Lat Phrao?
Exit in MRT Lat Phrao and take a taxi to Hua Muum Market. You also can take a taxi from Chatuchak. Tell the taxi driver it is near The Walk Kaset Nawamin for easier reference.

Gotta love Bangkok for their night markets, spa and food!
Hi, since you know many night markets around Bangkok, would you also write about wet markets around Bangkok? Usually wet markets not only selling fresh fruits & veggies for cooking but you can find many kinds of typical Thai food which you may not get in the restaurants. Besides that, you can also find some unusual creatures. This would be interesting to explore as many tourist will flock to famous hotspot only.
I always love to shop Wet Market at Bangkok! We can find many treasure and vintage stuff there XD
