KLIA’s Aerotrain Breaks Down Again
KLIA’s Aerotrain Breaks Down Again
KLIA’s Aerotrain Breaks Down Again and many people are traveling now taking advantage of next week’s school holiday before the month of Ramadhan.
Our friends who were traveling around 8.30 am this morning told us that it was chaos. Both trains are not working and sometimes we wonder why the trains are so easily breaks down. There were flight delays and it created a bottleneck for passengers traveling from the main building to the satellite building.
The good news is both Aerotrains now are in operation and the breakdown is due to ‘corrective maintenance’. Sometimes you do wonder why did they do the ‘corrective maintenance’ in the morning and not in the middle of the night.
If you are planning to fly next two weeks in KLIA or KLIA2, be there early as there will be many people traveling at the same time. Be there at least three hours early for International flight and two hours early for domestic flights. You never know what other maintenance issues might pop up.
We were victims of the Aerotrain ‘maintenance’ issue last year too. There wasn’t a sight of both Aerotrains and it took more than 20 minutes for the Aerotrain to reach the satellite terminal. Imagine if you are a tourist visiting the country and this is the first impression of the service level of Malaysia.
