Durian Cendol at Gerai Cendol Leleh Puchong Batu 14

There is a good news and bad news for this durian cendol at Puchong Batu 14. The good news is this is an alternative durian cendol located in Puchong rather than going all the way and queue at the popular Shah Alam’s durian cendol. The bad news is they are closing tomorrow for the month of Ramadhan for fasting (puasa).

Thanks to the Bernice for highlighting us that there is a stall called Gerai Cendol Leleh is selling durian cendol at RM 3 only. The stall is located by the road side of Jalan Puchong Batu 14 and opposite SRKJC Han Ming.

Selling at RM 3 means you have to lower down your expectations. The cendol is fresh and not the frozen type. The shaved iced is not that smooth and you get a piece of durian instead of a few pieces. We are no sure what type of durians they use but it is definitely not the top of the range.

For RM3, it is a steal. The cendol is ordinary with lighter taste of the palm sugar (gula Melaka) and it didn’t overwhelm the taste of the durian.

Looks like we have to wait for one month before they reopened the stall. From what we heard that there are many places are starting to sell durian cendol. Since the hype is still around, maybe there will be Ramadhan stalls will take the opportunity to sell them too. Do let us know if you find any and we would love to find and taste them. Gerai Cendol Leleh is operated by a friendly Malay family and we will go back again once they are open after Hari Raya.
