Bangkok is a shopping paradise and also a food haven. When it comes to good food, the city offers more than meets the eye. On our recent trip to Bangkok, we went to a shabu shabu buffet restaurant in Terminal 21 and the restaurant is called Penguin Eat Shabu.

They are located on the 5^th floor next to Pier 21 Food Court in Terminal 21 Shopping Mall. This is one of their branches and they are very popular with the locals. The reason is simple, good food and affordable pricing!

We were there with our Thai friends to catch up as the restaurant is recommended by them. For good food, we do believe in locals’ recommendation as they know the best restaurants in Bangkok.

The restaurant comes with simple and clean design. The menu is pretty simple and it comes with three buffet prices. Their buffet starts from 359 Baht, 459 Baht and 659 Baht.

We ordered the 659 Baht buffet as it comes with premium grade Wagyu Beef and Rib-Eye Australia beef. This is an eat all you can ala-carte buffet so you get better quality food.

We ordered the suki and shabu soup. One is the spicy soup and one is their signature soup. Both are equally tasty depending on your preferences.

We didn’t take all the food pictures we had but we had plenty for lunch. The beef quality is up to our expectation especially the freshness of their seafood.

Their wagyu sushi is addictive with a big fat piece of beef on top of the rice glazed with the sweet teriyaki sauce.

Overall, the taste of the food here is good and it is worth the money spent. If you are looking for a buffet shabu in Bangkok, Penguin Eat Shabu in Terminal 21 is a good place to visit. We hope you enjoyed their shabu like we did. This is a hidden gem in Bangkok and yet to be discovered. Will definitely come back for more!
