The Commons opens earlier this year at Soi Thong Lor 17 and it is one of the new hipsters’ playground. It is a pet friendly mall that hosts a total of 28 restaurants, cafes and shops.

The architecture is unique with the open area in the middle and surrounded by restaurants, cafes and shops creating a ‘U’ shape. You can find some people prefer sitting outdoor with cuppa coffee with their pets while we still prefer indoor with air conditioner.

The Commons Thonglor is segmented to Top Yard, Play Yard, Village and Market.

We didn’t visit all the restaurants except Roast as they moved here from Seenspace Thonglor. However, if you have time this is a real hipster playground. Like we mentioned, there are a total of 28 restaurants, cafes and shops at The Commons.

What we like about The Commons is the vibe, the ambience and the food you can find. You can have brunch, lunch, tea and dinner here by visiting some of the restaurants and cafes here. Thus, you find it really relaxing to chill or just to dine here. Pet friendly means you can see cats and dogs here while the owners having a good time enjoying coffee or just doing their work here.

You never been to The Commons, you should visit this place at least once if you are in Bangkok. Plenty of good food, chill out area and this place is definitely for hipsters. Most of the people here are locals and you don’t mind many tourists here yet.

How to go to The Commons Thong Lor

The best and cheapest way to go to The Commons Thong Lor is by BTS skytrain and taxi. Exit at BTS Thong Lo station and take a taxi or Uber to The Commons. That is the cheapest and most practical way to visit the place.
