Tiny Temptress Sri Petaling: Small Bites & Desserts

This is another good recommendation in Sri Petaling area after we blogged about Wayne’s Café recently. The café is called the Tiny Temptress and it is located at 8-1, Jalan Radin Bagus 8, Bandar Sri Petaling.

This is one of dozen food outlets cramped in this new business area of Jalan Radin Bagus neighbourhood making it one of the top places for food in Sri Petaling Area. It is located on the first floor, one floor up of the Soft Serve Dessert Restaurant.

The café is only one month old and specialising in sweet and sinful desserts. Some of the highlights are their French desserts such as their macarons (& tiny size ones) including the salted egg flavour, tarts and mousse.

The café is beautifully designed with light pastel colours and furniture. The décor and its food is designed for Instagram. It didn’t surprise us when the majority of the customers are youngsters and young adults. Pictures are snapping non-stop from one to another table.

They have a simple menu with limited choices of drinks and desserts. As long as the food is good, you don’t need lots of choices, do you agree?

I went there with Mynn as we catch up as we didn’t meet for weeks. Both of us were traveling in different places and it was a cool place for chit chatting and some real good dessert.

Cut the story short, let’s check out the food we ordered.

Salted Egg Yolk, Lemon and Lychee. Well the popular Salted Egg Yolk macaron is priced at RM 10 per piece while the usual flavours at RM 6 per piece. As expected the salted egg yolk macaron is strong in flavour and the filling slightly overwhelm the crust. Lemon and lychee is lighter in taste and flavour and they are not that sweet too. We prefer the usual flavours.

Oolong mousse, passion fruit Belgium milk chocolate ganache, marzipan chocolate sponge, biscuit base. This is thick and savoury in taste and chocolate lovers will love this. It is hard to taste the oolong but we don’t have complains for this.

Strawberry gelee, lychee cream, almond joconde sponger, biscuit base, chocolate gaze. We love the presentation of this and same goes to Bear Necessity. The glossy outer layer makes this so pretty and the taste is lighter and we love this. The taste is right, not too sweet with soft texture. In short, this is gorgeous.

Tiny Temptress is a lovely dessert place to chill and the food overall is good. Just remember you charged your smart phone and clear those disk spaces so you can enjoy Instagramming here. The food taste as good as it looks.
