LiveItUp Hostel Asok Bangkok Review
LiveItUp Hostel Asok Bangkok Review
Planning to stay in a hostel in Bangkok which is cheap, clean, great location and near BTS Skytrain Station? Well, there is a new kid on the block in Bangkok and the name is LiveItUp Hostel Asok. This is a brand new hostel and they are only a few months old. We were recommended to this hostel by a reader and we stayed in this place on our recent trip to Bangkok.
You can never complain the location of this hostel. It is located near Sukhumvit MRT Station (Subway), Asok BTS Station as well as Terminal 21! They have the best location so far for a hostel in Bangkok.
The entrance of this hostel is located at the back of the building by the main road. You can find signs leading to the back of the building and a small alley to the entrance of the hostel.
Just press the doorbell and you will enter the entrance of the hostel. The reception is located on the 5th floor and there is an elevator for your convenience. Remember there is no shoe within the hostel.
You will be greeted by an English gentleman, Jamie the general manager of the hostel and he speaks really good English for sure. Checking in is no hassle and you can get many information from him such as places to shop, where to eat and so on or you can always search our blog for more info in Bangkok.
They have single private room, 4 bedded dorm, 6 bedded dorm and 8 bedded dorm. The single private room is located on the 5th floor while the rest is on other floors.
There is an indoor hanging out area and outdoor hanging out area. There is a long dining table within the indoor chilling area (air-conditioned) and you can find free Internet access and computers here.
Thus, you can find snacks and drinks here (you have to pay for it of course). Thus, there is a mini gathering in the evening where the guests hang out here. You can join the fun and get to know more friends. You can find many different nationalities here and they are friendly lads.
If you plan to wash your clothes, there is also the laundry area with washing machine. Just talk to the receptionist for more info.
For the outdoor area, you have the view of the Bangkok city as well as the BTS Skytrain line. If you need some ‘air’, this is the place you can chill and hang out.
We stayed in the single private room and it small and cozy. It is similar to the Mini Hotels in Hong Kong but bigger in size. Of course it comes with a private bathroom. This hostel is quiet in the evening despite near the BTS Skytrain line. The bed is comfortable and we truly enjoyed our tay here. For us, it is important for the rooms to be clean and you won’t be complaining here
If you don’t mind the dorm, they have really cool four, six and eight bedded dorm. All of them are fully air conditioned and they are clean!
We did check at their shared bathrooms for men and women and they are clean!
