When we mentioned bike, it means bicycle. Bike tour in Yogyakarta is fun and easy bicycle ride and not the competition kind of ride. The bike tour takes roughly an hour to two and it depends on your arrangement with them.

We did our bike tour in Yogyakarta with Plataran Borobudur Resort & Spa. For IDR 450,000 per person (min 4 pax), it includes the bike rental, drinks and snacks, making your own pottery and batik session, lunch and most important of all, the guides.

Like we mentioned earlier, the bike (cycling) tour is fun and easy. There are no hills and the paths are mostly on flat lands so everyone can enjoy this cycling tour.

We prefer the ladies bicycle as it is smaller with a front basket (you can keep your things) and if you can cycle, you can ride on the Andong (horse carriage).

The cycling tour includes sceneries of paddy fields, villages as well as the locals. This is something you can’t do in towns or cities and we love the wind and the natural smell of the greens.

You can tell from the picture that the sceneries in this part of Yogyakarta is breathtaking. The locals here too are friendly. The best part of doing the bike tour here is there are no traffic and not many motorbikes or cars. It is very safe to cycle.

Snack break will be at Warung Kopi Borobudur including Pottery and Batik Making.

Either you want to create your own pottery or print your own batik. Both are fun activities and learn how to create your own art pieces.
