What’s interesting for Vivid Sydney 2017 is the whale migration season. Like the movie Finding Nemo, they do hangout into Sydney Harbour. Every year between May and November, these migrating whales swim from Antarctic waters up north to mate and give birth, before returning back down to the Southern Ocean. Watch the NSW coastlines come alive as these friendly giants perform spectacular acrobatic displays in the sparkling waters. For any wildlife lover out there, a whale watching cruise is a definite must-do for the opportunity to see them up close.
What else you should do during Vivid Sydney 2017? Well, you should visit the Snowy Mountains as it is winter season and there is snow in the mountains. You might hear snow and skiing in Korea or Japan, well they have it too in Sydney and why not visit the snowy mountains since you are in Sydney.
Of course, there are plenty more activities you can do in Sydney especially free things to do, café hopping or even looking for real tasty local dessert places.
There are a number of options to fly to Sydney from Kuala Lumpur and currently Singapore Airlines is having promotions for flights from Malaysia to Sydney. We flew to Sydney last year with Singapore Airlines and we totally loved it. The inflight meals are good as well as the hundreds of movie titles available in the flight.
