Genting Highlands Premium Outlets opened on 15th this month and it was crowded. Thank you to our friend Derek (@derekfong86) who went there and snap some pictures for us so you will know what to expect from this new Premium Outlets.
The architecture and design of Genting Highland Premium Outlets is almost identical to Johor Premium Outlets. They are from the same management and hence the layout and the design of the outlets.
What is so special about Genting Highlands Premium Outlets?
First of all is the weather. The perk of having the location near Gotong Jaya Genting Highlands means this outlet is generally cooler. You get weather of around 20 degree Celsius all year long (in average) so shopping here is cooler.
The spaces of the corridor and walkway is spacious so it is not overcrowded. It is easy to walk around the premium outlets but there can be more improvement like getting more chairs and benches.
Almost 80% of the shops in the outlets are opened. They are rushing for the Hari Raya crowd for sure and you won’t be disappointed for sure.
There are not many choices of food yet but Derek specially told us the food at Baba Nyonya is good.
We will try to visit the Genting Highlands Premium Outlets after the festive season. Everyone please drive safe and happy shopping!
