HLA International Menswear Opens First Flagship Store in MyTown Shopping Centre Malaysia

HLA, the International menswear fashion retailer has arrived in Malaysia with the opening of its flagship store at the brand new shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur, MyTown Shopping Centre Cheras. This is HLA’s first international venture and they use Kuala Lumpur as their base to expand their business. The new store in MyTown Shopping Centre comes with 3,423 square feet offering a wide variety of the latest affordable fashion trends without compromising quality, design and style.

The HLA official launch was held at Ground Floor, MyTown Shopping Centre. We were there at the event together with some of the influencers and fashion bloggers.

The is a huge centre stage and it looks elegant with a runway and dominated by black colour and blue LED lights.

It was full house with VIPS, influences and medias at the event. We mingled around with some of our influencer and PR friends before the start of the launch.

The grand launch of HLA was attended by representative of Ministry of Tourism and Culture Malaysia, HLA’s President Mr. Louis Zhou, representative of the Malaysian Retail Association, the management of MyTown Shopping Centre, key stakeholders from HLA and members of the media from China and Malaysia.

At the event, HLA’s President Louis Zhou took the stage and welcomed everyone.

‘We are excited to finally open HLA here in Malaysia and to expand within Asian market. HLA has always been about making fashionable menswear and placing high importance on quality and style. We look forward to bringing a new and exciting point of view to Kuala Lumpur  – practical fashion without breaking the bank’. You can watch his whole opening speech on the video below.

There was a surprise as there was a special guest for the HLA Official Launch. Gary Chaw or Cao Ge made his special appearances. The Malaysian born superstar is now based in Taiwan and he is a multiple award winner singer such as 19^th Golden Melody Awards for Best Male Mandarin Artist. He was involved in many hit TV series in China such as ‘Where are we going Dad’, ‘I am Singer 2’ and ‘The Masked Singer’.

He sang two songs as the models took the runway to show off HLA’s menswear designs. At one point, Gary Chaw was attracted by the design and he said he want that shirt! It took everyone by surprised and everyone laughed.

After the official launch of the event, Louis Zhou, Gary Chaw and other VIPs went up to the HLA store on the first floor for the ribbon cutting ceremony.

Next, they went and browse around the new HLA store and Louis Zhou and Gary Chaw spotted chit chatting while checking out some of designs offered.

HLA at MyTown Shopping Centre offers a wide range of fashion and accessories and both and formal wear for men. Prices start from RM 39.90 for T-shirt. There are also jackets, shoes, pants and jeans available.

The best part is there are even sizes available for a plus size person like me. The design of their short pants and blazers are really nice and the quality of the material of they offer is quite impressive. You have to check it out and see for yourself. We must say that the designs offered by HLA is pretty good and we will come back again to shop.

Following the successful launch of its Malaysian flagship, HLA plans to continue its expansion in Southeast Asia.
