Graze MCA Review : Brunch with Sydney Opera House view
Graze MCA Review : Brunch with Sydney Opera House view
There are plenty of amazing places for brunch in Sydney. However, if you want a great view of Sydney Opera House and good food, Graze MCA at Museum of Contemporary Art is the place you should visit.
The Graze MCA is located at Museum of Contemporary Art and it is a stone throw away from the Sydney Opera House and also The Rocks. You take around 10 mins to reach either The Rocks or Sydney Opera House. Not forgetting you can take your time to discover Museum of Contemporary Art.
We sat at the terrace, facing the opera house. It was raining that day but you wouldn’t mind the cold breeze.
A quick glance at Graze MCA menu, most of them are for casual dining and for sharing. We ordered a couple of dishes for sharing with a few bottles of wines for brunch.
Let’s start with a plate grilled flat bread with hummus and zaatar. If you have not eaten hummus before, it is made from chickpeas and their flat bread comes with zaatar (middle eastern herbs). This is pretty good and it is a real appetizer for brunch.
This is another lovely dish by them. Chilli and salt baby calamari with pickled melon, baby cucs & chipotle aioli. The lightly battered baby calamari is simply gorgeous and the pickled melon and chipotle aioli adds another layer of flavour onto it. We love this and this can be addictive.
This Bouillabaisse is for sharing for two persons. The Boullabaisse is a traditional stew originating from the port city of Marseille France. The whole she bangs come with market fish, blue swimmer crab, black mussels, vongole, split king prawn split “Moreton Bay” bug, roasted chili aioli & chargrilled garlic bread.
This is our first Bouillabaisse and we thought this is lovely. We love the different types of seafood that comes with this and also how it complements well with garlic bread. Remember to take this with a glass of white wine, you won’t have complaints.
We didn’t list a few dishes that we had as they no longer listed in their current menu as you probably spotted in the picture.
Graze MCA is a great brunch place with a view to remember. The food is good and the service staffs are helpful and amazing. Will definitely come back again.
If you are coming here during the weekend, you can also visit The Rocks Weekend Market. The first time we visited this market was back in 2001. This is one market you shall not missed as it offers many local products and also local produce arts and designs.
