The Mines Shopping Mall Dino Rawr Hunt Event
The Mines Shopping Mall is one of the top shopping malls in Klang Valley. Located near Seri Kembangan, it is a popular mall among the locals and tourists. They are also located next to the Mines International Convention Centre and it hosts some of the popular events in the country. The Mines Shopping Mall is a suburban mall that offers almost everything. You can find many restaurants, fashion retail shops, mobile and gadget shops, bookstores, home improvement outlets as well as cruise ride.
Recently, the Mines Shopping Mall organized a Dino Rawr Egg Scavenger Hunt and we were invited to participate this treasure hunt style event. We formed a daddy and son team as Rachel was taking care of the sick little brother at home. There were six teams of families competing or rather enjoying this Dino Rawr Egg Scavenger Hunt.
Every team have to go solve ten challenges and we have to go to ten places to solve them. After successfully completing each challenge, the team will be given a Dinosaur Egg and a piece of a map.
We spent more than 2 hours completing the whole challenge, took 10 dinosaur eggs and completed the map.
After the challenge, you will understand more about the shopping malls and some of things that they offer.
There are prizes for the top three teams and we were the last team to complete all the tasks. Winning and losing is not important in my view, we had lots of bonding and interaction between daddy and son during the challenges.
The event was happening after lunch and usually that is our boy’s napping time. He was very tired but he wanted to finish all the challenges. At the end of the day, he wanted me to carry him as he had sore toes.
There are many things we can use money to buy to make our boy happy but to see his desire to compete and not to give up is something that surprised us. We might be the last team but our boy’s attitude on that day is already a winner in our heart.
