Having delicious food in the comfort of your home has never been easier and more convenient!
Recently, we checked out the GrabFood app and they have more than 1000 restaurants on the platform on top of the 13 restaurants from The People’s Pick campaign.
After going through the list, we recently ordered authentic Sarawakian food from Restoran Dapur Sarawak. We did a Google search on this restaurant and they have over 4 star ratings with more than 400 positive reviews. Restoran Dapur Sarawak serves HALAL food so this is a good option for all Malaysians.
We ordered the Kolo Mee Special, Sarawak Laksa Special and the 3 Layer Tea. The delivery took less than 40 minutes to reach despite the fact that it was during peak hour (lunch time).
What we like about GrabFood is the punctuality and that the food is still warm when delivered. There is a live update on the delivery of the food on the app.
The Sarawak Laksa and the Kolo Mee is packed separately with the soup and the curry sauce. You just need to pour it into the container or you can reheat the food if you prefer it hot.
The Kolo Mee is pretty tasty as it comes with chicken and beef. There is also a chicken only Kolo Mee option available for those who can’t take beef. The taste of Kolo Mee is pretty unique, however you have the option to add more sauce to enhance the flavour.
The Sarawak Laksa is really good. The laksa sauce is creamy and strong in flavour. The special version comes with four large prawns, chicken and egg. The taste of the Sarawak Laksa is as close as you can get in Sarawak. This is highly recommended.
As expected, the tea is sweet but memorable as we love the three layered tea in Sarawak.
This is the main reason why GrabFood is our top choice as they offer delivery services for good authentic local food. If you are reading this, we have something cool for you (if you are not a GrabFood user).
