Planning for a family trip this school holiday? There is something new but no big announcements yet. Pokemon is coming to Genting Highlands or they called it Resorts World Genting. Yes, now you can meet Pikachu and friends at Genting Highlands.

Catch ‘em all at a variety of games, activities and promotions available only at the festival!

We first got to know about this event as they were promoting it in Singapore a few weeks ago. Singapore Pokemon Go spotted the poster and posted on the Facebook Group.

From posting on their official website, the Genting Pokemon Festival do not looks like a Pokemon Go event and it is not listed in Pokemon Go Official Websites too.

This is probably a Pokemon Festival with activities, games and official merchandise. Starting first December until end of February means they will be there during two main festivals, Christmas and Chinese New Year.

If your kids love Pokemon, this is the opportunity to bring them to Genting Highlands. We believe Genting Highlands will be packed during this school holidays period especially during weekends and on festive days.

You can also park at Genting Premium Outlet and take the Skyway up to Genting Highlands. Our boys love that experience and maybe we should do a trip to Pokemon Festival too!
