AirAsia Santan Chef Hong’s Korean Sweet and Spicy Chicken
We all know AirAsia offers new route from Kuala Lumpur from time to time. However, do you know they offer new food in their Santan In Flight Menu? Remember we reviewed the Golden Butter Chicken and Pineapple Tarts Combo for Chinese New Year a few weeks ago and now they introduce a new food called Chef Hong’s Korean Sweet and Spicy Chicken.
You probably seen their advertisement on Facebook or Youtube, it is Korean celebrity chef Hong Seok-Cheon’s creation, the Korean Sweet and Spicy Chicken. It is also known as DakGangJoeng.

First of all, remember to take the fried fritters from the cabin crew with the Chef Hong’s Korean Sweet and Spicy Chicken.
The chicken is tender and coated with the thick sweet and spicy sauce. It goes very well with the fragrant jasmine rice. The fried fritters offer the layer of crunchy texture to the chicken.
If you don’t believe us, try order Chef Hong’s Korean Sweet and Spicy Chicken when you fly with AirAsia. Pre book online at Airasia.com to avoid disappointment. You can also purchase the combo meal at RM 18 with a drink and the ala-carte meal is priced at RM 15.
We ordered this when we travelled from Can Tho Vietnam to Kuala Lumpur. Can Tho Vietnam is one of the latest destinations offered by AirAsia. This laid back city is a must visit for those who enjoys eco tourism. For information, visit AirAsia.com
