Christmas is just a few days away and if you are in Tokyo, you must visit Roppongi Hills Illumination in this December 2019. Roppongi Hills has become ‘the place’ to visit in Tokyo for Christmas Illumination every year.

The Roppongi Hills Christmas Illumination is happening from 11th November to 25th December 2019 from 5pm to 11pm. The Christmas tree illumination happens along the Keyakizaka-Dori Street and you can spot many locals and tourists visit this area taking photos and videos.

Getting to Roppongi Hills

Getting to Roppongi Hills Tokyo is easy as you can take the subway to Roppongi Station and it takes a short walk to the Keyakizaka-dori Street. Another hidden gem in Roppongi Hills will be the Mohri Garden Christmas Illumination which is located next to Oyane Plaza.

Once you reached Keyakizaka-dori Street, you will be mesmerized by ‘snow and blue’ Christmas Illumination.

Please take note the Roppongi Hills Christmas Illumination is happening on the public street of Keyakizaka-dori so there is no entrance fees and it is free of charge.

There are a few good spots for the pictures and the best so far is the bridge on top of the street. At the bridge there is small platform you can stand on and it offers the top view of the street and the Tokyo Skytree at the background. This is the best spot for Roppongi Hills Christmas Illumination.
