Cathay Pacific Airways Suspend Flights To Japan
News update. According to Bloomberg, Cathay Pacific Airways Ltd. will suspend flights to and from Japan for three weeks after the Japanese government tightened quarantine rules on people arriving from Hong Kong.
From 09 March until 28March 2020, all passenger flights between Hong Kong and Fukuoka, Nagoya, Sapporo, and Tokyo-Haneda will be suspended.
From 13 March until 28 March 2020, all passenger flights between Hong Kong and Tokyo-Narita and Osaka-Kansai as well as between Taipei and Tokyo-Narita and Osaka-Kansai will also be suspended.
Japan last week said travelers from China, including Hong Kong and Macau, as well as South Korea will be quarantined for 14 days. It also suspended visa exemptions for Hong Kong, Macau and South Korea. Please check Cathay Pacific’s website for regular updates.
