Japanese Yen Hits Almost Ten Year High Against Ringgit Malaysia
For those who has been following our blog, you know that we love to travel to Japan. Our blog has been around for over 10 years but we have been traveling to Japan at least once a year for the past couple of years. We travelled to Japan five times last year and you can read our stories and experience in Japan at https://www.placesandfoods.com/category/japan.
The big news is Japanese Yen Hits Almost Ten Year High Against Ringgit Malaysia. The Japanese Yen is going up today and 100 Yen is around RM 4.11 according to Rate Exchange website Xe.com.
We went to Japan in 2012 and it was around 100 Yen to RM 4 and history is repeating itself. The Japanese Yen is now at RM 4.11 (for 100 Yen). The highest in the last 10 years is RM 4.14 (for 100 yen on 26 September 2011).
Last week, the Japanese Yen was around RM 3.87 (for 100 Yen) and due to many factors, our ringgit Malaysia slumped today. We hope this temporary and hope it will be stabilised in upcoming weeks as we have plans to visit Japan this year.
