Samsung New Advanced AI-powered Wind-Free™ Cooling Air Conditioner

Whenever we travelled to Korea, we noticed that most of the air conditioners are from Samsung. We were told that Samsung Air Conditioner is one of the most popular brands in Korea as they are reliable, long lasting and equipped with new technologies.

Recently, Samsung Electronics Malaysia launched an advanced new air conditioning unit, the AR9500T, bringing its innovative and unique Wind-Free™ cooling technology to markets around the world. The AR9500T air conditioner is set to revolutionize the market as the first still-air unit with adaptive cooling and AI capabilities.

The AR9500T demonstrates Samsung’s industry leadership with an innovative and hassle-free way to refresh indoor air and keep it cool. The unit combines an advanced airflow mechanism with the intelligence of AI Auto Cooling to maintain optimal room conditions.

Best-in-Class Cooling Performance

Consumers can enjoy the ultimate cooling experience without having to deal with direct, cold drafts with Samsung’s Wind-Free™ technology and its automated 3-Step cooling mode. In the first step, the temperature is lowered quickly in Fast Cooling mode. Second, it uses a dehumidifying feature to set the optimal level of humidity. Finally, when the desired temperature is reached, Wind-Free™ Cooling mode is activated to maintain those levels and provide an ideal level of comfort.

Fast Cooling mode works by cooling the room quickly from corner to corner, dispersing cool air farther and wider to allow users to enjoy it from wherever they are in the room. The new Wind-Free^TMunit’s Digital Inverter Boost dramatically reduces the time it takes for the compressor to reach maximum power once it starts operating, so it cools the air 43 percent faster.¹

In Wind-Free^TM Cooling mode, fresh air is dispersed gently and evenly through 23,000 micro-holes, creating a “still air” condition² that allows people to live, work, and relax comfortably without experiencing unpleasant cold drafts.

Enhanced Smart Operation

The AR9500T adds intelligence and convenience by optimizing the cooling process with its AI Auto Cooling feature, allowing consumers to use their air conditioner more simply and efficiently. It works by analyzing room conditions, user-preferred temperatures and cooling modes, and even the outdoor climate to automatically switch to the most appropriate setting.

It can also be controlled and monitored remotely using the SmartThings app, letting users turn their air conditioner on or off, select preferred cooling modes and schedule operations—all at a touch.

Outstanding Energy-Efficiency

The AR9500T uses Samsung’s energy-efficient Digital Inverter Boost compressor, allowing consumers to maintain their desired temperature while reducing energy consumption. The new Digital Inverter Boost compressor was developed to maintain the desired temperature with less fluctuation, meaning the indoor temperature can be managed more efficiently. The unit also reduces energy usage by up to 73 percent and comes with a 5-Star energy label for CSPF, receiving the highest energy rating achievable in Malaysia.

Breezy Convenience

Consumers are also increasingly concerned about indoor air quality. AR9500T has an advanced Tri-Care Filter that keeps the air hygienic by extracting large dust, fibers, and hairs. It also helps reduce the presence of fine dust, viruses, bacteria and allergens so users can breathe cleaner air. It also comes equipped with Easy Filter Plus. Unlike conventional filters that are often difficult to access, the Easy Filter Plus is located outside, right on the top of the unit. This means it can easily be taken out and cleaned—which helps keep the unit working efficiently with less effort.

It’s also easy for consumers to keep their air conditioner hygienic with the Auto Clean function that prevents bacteria and odor buildup. It even operates with less noise for less disturbance at home.
