Silom Walking Street Bangkok
Silom Walking Street Bangkok
This is one of the latest attractions to do in Bangkok. The Silom Walking Street is located along Silom Road under the Sala Daeng BTS Station. The Silom Walking Street in Bangkok started in December 2019 to promote more spending and to boost tourism in the city.
The Silom Walking Street happens on every 3rd Sunday of the month from noon to 10 pm. We were lucky to be there to check out this new Silom Walking in Bangkok.
The Silom Walking occupies both side of the Silom Road (underneath) Sala Deang BTS Station. Hence, it is very easy to come to this walking street as it is just underneath Sala Daeng BTS Station.
We were there at noon time so there are not many people. The photos and video is taken on the third Sunday of February so there were lesser people due to the CONVID-19 outbreak. However, it is very safe to travel around Bangkok.
You can find dozens of food stalls in both roads of Silom Road. We find many unique local food in this Silom Walking Street and the food prices here are very reasonable.
There are also tables available for customers to sit down to eat. Hence, this is a great walking street for 3rd Sunday of the month if you want to discover more local food.
Remember, the Silom Walking Street is happening on the 3rd Sunday of the month from noon to 10 pm. We hope you enjoy the Silom Walking Street like we do. You can also check out other Bangkok stories at https://www.placesandfoods.com/category/thailand/thailand-bangkok
