26 COVID-19 Red Zones in Malaysia
The movement control order (MCO) has extended to 28 April 2020. There are also new updates on the COVID-19 Red Zones in Malaysia and are 26 COVID-19 Red Zones in Malaysia as on 12 noon, 11 April 2020 as announced by Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM) or Ministry of Health Malaysia on their official Twitter account. Please take note that KKM categorised areas with 41 COVID-19 cases and above as red zones.
There is an increment of 2 COVID-19 Red Zones in just two days as it was 24 COVID-19 Red Zones in Malaysia on 12 noon, 8 April 2020! Now, there are 26 COVID-19 Red Zones in Malaysia and 11 COVID-19 Red Zones area in Klang Valley. We also blogged about the Five Major COVID-19 Clusters Identified in Malaysia.

There are 11 COVID-19 Red Zones in Klang Valley and the new COVID-19 Red Zones are Melaka Tengah and Hulu Selangor. All zones in KL is now COVID-19 Red Zones.
For your information, there are 15 orange zones in the country (20 to 40 cases), 78 yellow zones (one to 19 cases) and 29 green zones (no Covid-19 cases). There are a few orange zones closer to Red Zones and they are Kota Kinabalu (35 cases), Lahad Datu (38 cases), Seberang Perai Tengah (38 cases), Kuala Muda (35 cases) and Muar (40 cases).
