We blogged about the Geran Khas Prihatin (GKP) recently as we also applied for the GKP funding last month. For those who applied GKP, the results should be out and if you have applied the Geran Khas Prihatin (GKP) last month, the result was out on 3 June 2020. If you have applied, you can check your results (as per your login) at https://gkp.hasil.gov.my/.

The GKP is the government’s initiative to help SME owners during this COVID-19 pandemic and the funding is RM 3000. The payment for GKP is expected to roll out from 15 June 2020 progressively. We didn’t get the payment on the first day but we received GKP funding yesterday on 16 June 2020.

You will notice the bank payment from Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negara (LHDN) or Inland Revenue Board (Income Tax department). We will use the funding to upgrade our working equipment which is our PC workstation.

We are grateful to receive the GKP funding and it is vital for us to make sure we can produce better content and work in the future. We believe we need to declare this funding for eHasil 2020?

There are many SME owners like us are suffering during this COVID-19 pandemic. Luckily, we maintain a low operating cost as we work from home but we still need to take care of our two boys and family.

We know some of our SME friends have not received the funding so be patient. If we received it, we believed the funding is rolling out progressively.
