It is all about Cuti-cuti Malaysia after the Movement Control Order (MCO) and Langkawi is one of the popular tourist destinations in Peninsula Malaysia. We visited Langkawi last year as we stayed at The Datai Langkawi Rainforest Villa. We posted the The Datai Langkawi Rainforest Villa Stay and Walkthrough video on our Youtube Channel and we noticed it picked up some views so it is time to do a proper review in our blog.

The Datai Langkawi is located the north west of Langkawi and it is secluded and far away from all the happenings on the island. If you plan to stay at The Datai Langkawi, you are investing in your stay and holiday especially you are planning to book The Datai Langkawi Rainforest Villa.

You can request for the airport transfer and they will send a limousine to pick you up from the airport. It is a comfortable ride from the airport to the resort (and back).

We reached the resort, we had the welcome drink and then they prepared the villa for us. The Datai Langkawi is huge so we need to get the hotel buggy to get us from the resort lobby to the villa.

The The Datai Langkawi Rainforest Villa is huge and the first time you see is the bed room. This is a huge room and there are two working desk with window, two mini sofas and one long bench sofa.

What we like about the villa for the first impression is the wood finishing. They refurbished the villas last year and it look new.

The bed comes with two single beds, love the linens as well as the pillows. We had great night sleep in this villa and that is definitely what you need in a holiday.

The bedroom rooms comes with a flat screen TV, fridge, safe as well as a coffee machine, snacks like chocolates as well as tea bags.

In the middle of the room, you can find the door to the bathroom and we bet you never expect the bathroom will look like this.

There is a nice long bench at the middle of the bathroom that splits two bathroom basin and you can spot the bath tub at the background. The bathroom is spacious and this is everyone’s dream bathroom.

There is also a balcony on the other side of the bedroom and it offers the view of the lush green jungle of Langkawi. This is quite relaxing especially if you plan to read a book with a cup of coffee or tea.

For the swimming pool, it is on the other side of the resort and you can order the buggy and they will send you to the swimming pool and it is next to the beach.

The beach is a secluded beach and it is very quiet here. You don’t see many people here except the guest of The Datai Langkawi only.

Breakfast is located at the restaurant in the resort lobby complex and either you can walk or order a buggy to transfer you to the resort lobby.
