Suria KLCC During CMCO

We were in Suria KLCC a few days ago during this Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO). It was a weekday and we went there to check out a few new retail outlets and went there for a quick lunch.

Since this CMCO, there are many shopping malls are affected and this goes to Suria KLCC too. They are considered as one of the busiest shopping malls in Kuala Lumpur but now is relatively empty. You can check out a quick video we did below.

There are some shops are closed and new shops will replaced them. The busy Central Concourse used to be the most sought after event space in KL is now pretty empty due to the CMCO.

We didn’t manage to visit their new refurbished food court as we were rushing to meet our client in another location.

This CMCO hits hard on many small businesses, restaurants and shopping malls. Of course, we are affected by this CMCO as we usually do lots of traveling abroad.

What we wish is everything is safe and healthy and hope this COVID-19 will end soon (most likely next year). Our boys love Suria KLCC and they have been complaining the lack of outdoor activities for this CMCO. Let’s pray things will get well soon for everyone.
