C Chuan Village Sky Avenue Genting Highlands

We visited Sky Avenue in Genting Highlands once the Movement Control Order (MCO) was over during the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO). We went there during weekday and there was no crowd at all and we had lunch at C Chuan Village Sky Avenue Genting Highlands.

We brought our boys to visit Skytropolis Indoor Theme Park and we stayed at First World Hotel for RM 47. You can read about our short stay at First World Hotel at https://www.placesandfoods.com/2020/07/first-world-hotel-genting-highlands-rm47.html and the update of the Skytropolis Indoor Theme Park Day Price at https://www.placesandfoods.com/2020/08/genting-highlands-skytropolis-indoor-theme-park-day-pass-price.html. We were looking for a nice restaurant for lunch and we found C Chuan Village Sky Avenue Genting Highlands.

C Chuan or Sichuan is a province in China which includes Chengdu and coincidently we visited Sichuan last year. Sichuan is popular for their ‘mala’ spicy sauce and home for the cute pandas.

We saw their Special Menu at their entrance as we prioritized food for our boys as they offer fried rice and noodles.

The C Chuan Village is a typical Oriental design and ambiance. The décor and the wooden tables and chairs are similar to typical old Chinese restaurants in China.

The restaurant was not packed during RMCO and the service was pretty good with attentive waiters and waitresses.

Wanton Noodles

This is the non-spicy of Sichuan Wanton Noodles as we ordered this for our boys. The wanton comes with generous amount of pork and the noodles are al-dente while the soup.

The bowl of the warm noodles are perfect at the cooling weather at Genting Highlands. This is what comfort food is.

Fried Rice with Pork Chop

This fried rice is comes with crispy pork chop and this is good. The rice is fried to perfection and it comes with lots of ‘wok hei’. This is what you need when you are in Genting Highlands, hot fried rice with pork chop and not pre-cooked fried rice.

If you look at the photo, the rice is fried with egg and topped with the pork chop. The pork chop is well seasoned and it is tender in texture. To be honest, we were surprised by the taste of the fried rice with pork chop and this is definitely a must order.

Overall, we were impressed by the food at C Chuan Village at Sky Avenue Genting Highlands. Please take note that this is during the RMCO and there were lesser customers when we visited the restaurant. During this holiday period of December, please travel safe and take care of yourself. Kita Jaga Kita.
