Latest update! Malaysians Do Not Require VISA to Enter Thailand and you can apply Certificate of Entry COE online at https://coethailand.mfa.go.th/regis/index?checkconfirm=true
Please take not that the maximum stay per entry for Malaysians to Thailand has been extended to 45 (inclusive of 14 days compulsory Quarantine).
For other nationality, Special Tourist Visa STV is now available to ALL TOURISTS.
Please take note that you need to submit your documents at https://coethailand.mfa.go.th/regis/index?checkconfirm=true and Malaysians can only take flight to Thailand.
At this time, Malaysians are not allowed to cross border to Thailand via land but only by flight only. You can refer to the video below for the steps.

You need to apply first at https://coethailand.mfa.go.th/regis/index?checkconfirm=true and fill in your personal details and wait for application approved.
There must be an evidence of your flight reservation within 15 days and you need to submit the personal information including a copy of your passport and flight itinerary into the website.
Then you need to attach the ASQ reservation into the website. Remember to save and confirm.
Fill in your passport number, name and surname with the 6 digit code. When your application is approved, please click download to obtain COE.
Remember to bring the necessary travel documents
- Certificate of Entry: COE
- Health Insurance
- COVID-19 free medical certificate (issued 72 hours prior to flight)
- Fit to Fly medical certificate (issued 72 hours prior to flight)
- Passport
- Thai Visa (if necessary)
Thailand is now open for Malaysians without VISA and do remember the steps to apply the Certificate of Entry at https://coethailand.mfa.go.th/regis/index?checkconfirm=true
Remember, if you do not have all the 1-5 necessary travel documents, they will deny your entry to Thailand. Travel safe and be safe!
