Lim Ko Pi Sunway Geo Avenue
Lim Ko Pi Sunway Geo Avenue
This will be a quick one as we had lunch at Lim Ko Pi located at Sunway Geo Avenue. There is nothing much in this mall, located opposite Sunway Medical Centre or Sunway Hospital. There is a bridge linking Sunway Geo Avenue to Sunway Medical Centre and also to the BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) Sun Med Station.
There are a couple of bars and cafes at Sunway Geo Avenue and we saw quite a good crowd at Lim Ko Pi so we chose to had our lunch there. The prices of the food is shopping mall price and the noodles are priced over RM 10 per bowl, it is a bit pricey.
This was before MCO (Movement Control Order) and we ordered two types of curry noodles and one ‘Cham’ (mixture of coffee and tea).
The Signature Triple Meat Curry Noodles Dry comes with three different types of meat and they are chicken, siew yoke (roast pork) and char siew (caramelized pork) and they are two pieces each. It also comes with taufupok, long beans and beansprout and the dry curry noodles come with thick curry sauce.
The portion is a little bit small but we like the taste of their curry. It is missing the important ingredient which is the siham (cockles) or otherwise it will taste better. We also love that big piece of mint leaf.
The Signature Triple Meat Curry Noodles Soup offers the same ingredient and it looks more appetizing due to generous amount of the curry. The taste is pretty good, not too spicy and again portion is a bit small for the price of RM 14.20.
Their cham comes with strong flavor. We always love that thick and strong coffee taste that will wake you up after the first sip.
Overall, the food at Lim Ko Pi Sunway Geo Avenue is pretty decent taste with slightly high pricing. They are open for breakfast from 8 am until 5 pm except Sundays. Nothing more to say about this place except good curry noodles.
