AirAsia introduces all-new Asean Unlimited product! airasia continues to innovate with the launch of an all-new product – Asean Unlimited, offering unlimited access to airasia’s international and domestic flights as well as e-commerce delivery services on the airasia Asean super app.
A first-of-its-kind offering in Asean
Tony Fernandes, CEO of airasia Group said: “We’ve always been a disruptor and this time we are taking another unprecedented step to launch Asean Unlimited. Airasia has expanded into a super app, offering much more than just travel products and now include e-commerce and fintech products. We have received so many positive responses and support for our new offerings, and we want to continue providing value to our customers.
With positive developments on COVID-19 vaccination across the region, we are revving up our engines to ensure a smooth take-off when travel returns. As part of our preparations to welcome the recovery of air travel in the region and to further stimulate the local economy, we hope that this product can also serve as a catalyst as the Asean tourism industry gears itself for a post-Covid revival.”
Unlimited flights and unlimited delivery until March 2022
Karen Chan, CEO of airasia.com said: “We were thrilled by the highly positive response when we introduced the AirAsia Unlimited Pass last year: our buy-now-travel-later pass. This time, we are offering even greater value to our customers by allowing Asean Unlimited pass-holders to redeem unlimited flights both domestically within Malaysia and internationally across Asean (when borders reopen on flight code AK) for future travel from 17 March 2021 up to 26 March 2022, subject to availability of flights. Aside from flights, pass-holders will also have unlimited access to free delivery services across airasia shop, airasia food, and airasia fresh. Delivery is currently available within the Klang Valley with upcoming expansion into more cities across Malaysia.”
Priced at RM599, the pass is available to all Malaysia-based AirAsia BIG Members to purchase on airasia.com/deals or the airasia Asean super app (under the Unlimited Deals tab) from 3 March (1000hrs GMT+8) to 7 March 2021 (2359h GMT+8). BigPay users will enjoy RM50 off their purchase when they pay with BigPay.
We are using airasia Fresh, airasia Food and airasia Shop since last year and for a user experience, so far it is quite positive. One of the main perks of using the airasia super app which includes the airasia Fresh, airasia Food and airasia Shop is we can use the airasia Big Points to pay as we have many unutilised points as we are using the Hong Leong Bank AirAsia Platinum Card. So this is the latest travel news, AirAsia introduces all-new Asean Unlimited product.
