The Smallest Hotel Room We Stayed in Hong Kong
The Smallest Hotel Room We Stayed in Hong Kong
We travelled quite a bit every year before the COVID-19 pandemic. We stayed in small hotel rooms around the world especially in Japan but this is the smallest hotel room we stayed and it is in Hong Kong.
This is the smallest hotel room we stayed in Hong Kong and it is the former Mini Hotel Stanley. When we mention hotel room, this is not a dorm room, a backpacker room or Airbnb room.
What you can see here is the actual hotel room and this is the space of the room. We went to this hotel many years ago and we should have took the video of the room.
The room is so small, we can’t even open our mid size luggage, so we have to open our luggage at the hotel corridor.
They tried to save space as much as they can only fit the bed as it is, no more room on the sides of the bed. The funny thing is they manage to fit a flat screen on the side of the TV.There is no door but curtains to the bathroom / toilet. From the bed, you can actually see the toilet which is next to the hotel room door.
To be honest, it was good stay here at Mini Hotel Stanley. We were the first few people to review the hotel as it was intended for long term stay. The environment and surrounding area is quiet and we truly enjoyed this part of Hong Kong.
Despite The Smallest Hotel Room We Stayed in Hong Kong, it was memorable and thankful for such a great experience. Sadly, the hotel was closed but you can read more about it at: https://www.placesandfoods.com/2015/12/mini-stanley-hong-kong-hotel.html
You are right. The hotel does look really small. LOL 😀
