Nyonya Heritage Kuih Stall Brickfields
This is a popular kuih stall in Brickfields. The 40 year old stall is called the Nyonya Heritage and they are located at the junction of Jalan Thambipillay, Brickfields (in front of Restoran Shangri-la) and opposite YMCA Kuala Lumpur.
The Nyonya Heritage Kuih Stall Brickfields opens from 11.30 am to 6.30 pm daily. Usually their kuih will run out in late afternoon and expect to see long queue during lunch time.
The stall offers 30 types of kuih muih /cakes/ desserts and they make their kuih every morning so you get the freshest kuih in town. On top of that, they use quality ingredient and hence there are so many loyal customers for over 40 years.
Some of the popular kuih or food at Nyonya Heritage includes yam cake, pumpkin cake, rice pudding cake, boba dessert, magic ball, fried mee hoon and noodles, steam glutinous rice, fried prawn fritter (cucur udang), kuih and more.
I would prefer their fried stuffs like the cucur udang while Rachel prefer the traditional kuih-muih. Since it is made daily, you can really taste the freshness of the kuih and most of them are really tasty. Quality maintained after so many years.
Next to the Nyonya Heritage Kuih Stall is another popular stall, the Pisang Goreng stall. We didn’t manage to photos for this past few years as they always sold out.
