Aviation industry possibly back to normal in 2022
Can aviation industry possibly back to normal in 2022? Can we fly like we before in 2022? Do you miss flying as much as we do?
The aviation industry is likely to return to normal in 2022 with the gradual resumption of interstate travels and the reopening of international borders, said AirAsia group chief executive officer Tan Sri Tony Fernandes.
He also called for the implementation of better policies to avoid any disruptions for travelling, adding that the government should decide on what would be required to open up the borders, including the documents needed for travel purposes.
“I think that will be sorted out by September or October when we allow interstate travels and some international flying,” he said during the “Communication Organisational Change Across Culture” webinar today.
The webinar was organised by Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.

We are no expert and we do not have any crystal balls to see the future. However, we remain hopeful and positive but there are many decisive factors for the borders to reopen or new regulations for flying in the future. It is all up to the speed of vaccination, the numbers of COVID-19 cases as well as the decision by the government.
If all the stars are aligned, aviation industry possibly back to normal in 2022. Covid vaccine passport is already in place for many countries and Thailand will be open with Phuket this July while Bali is also racing to open at the same date.
Aviation industry possibly back to normal in 2022? We just have to wait and see and pray for the best.
