Matcha Eight Lalaport BBCC Japanese Green Tea Ice Cream Review
Matcha Eight Lalaport BBCC Japanese Green Tea Ice Cream Review
Have you tried Japanese green tea ice cream in Japan? If you have not, you should visit Matcha Eight at Lalaport BBCC. Matcha Eight serves Japanese ice cream offering Japanese green tea (matcha) ice cream like in Japan.
While everyone is waiting for Japan’s border to open, now you can head to Matcha Eight at Lalaport BBCC to try their eight Japanese green tea ice cream.
What you need to know is Matcha Eight serves artisanal, premium and 100% natural Japanese tea ice cream made with the finest single-origin tea powder imported from Wazuka town, Kyoto, Japan.
They are the first premium Japanese tea ice cream artisan in Malaysia offering sencha, matcha and hojicha series of varying tea richness to suit everyone’s palate. Matcha Eight is a creation of culinary art and passion, with an exclusive partnership with Michelin-starred Master Chef Takuji Takahashi from Kyoto.
Matcha Eight Ice Cream Menu:
1. Lovesick Girl – Mild sencha
2. Soulmate – Medium sencha
3. Maybe It’s Love – Mild matcha
4. Matcha Me Tonight – Medium matcha
5. Hocus Matcha-cus – Intense matcha
6. Melodrama Queen – Rich blend of sencha and matcha
7. Hojilicious – Light hojicha
8. Ho Ho Hoji – Intense hojicha
I have tasted all the eight flavours and it is all depends on your preferences. For me, I prefer number 5 (Hocus matcha-cus) and number 8 (ho ho hoji). These are intense Japanese green tea ice cream and it less sweet.
Matcha Eight ice creams are Muslim friendly and they are located at Lot G-68, Gourmet Street, LaLaport Bukit Bintang City. If you never tried Japanese green tea ice cream, you can visit Matcha Eight at Matcha Eight Lalaport BBCC.
The queue for Matcha Eight can be quite long on the weekends, so my insider tip is to try to visit on weekdays instead to beat the rush and find your favourite flavour.
Make sure you tasted the ice cream first before you order as everyone has a different taste palette. Some prefer mild, some prefer hojicha and that is the reason why they offer eight different flavours to cater for everyone.
There are a few nice spots for photos so why not post your Matcha Eight photos on social media?
