I brought my family to Faber Tower Taman Desa for Japanese food at Teppan Sakaba and it was fully booked. Then, we went to Koyaku Japanese Dining & Grill and it was fully booked too. Looks like there are many restaurants were fully booked during this long Hari Raya holiday.
While we did not have any Japanese food last evening but it reminded me to share my previous dining session at Koyaku Japanese Dining & Grill Faber Tower Taman Desa.
The interior is quite interesting with a huge Astro Boy as the centrepiece, a bar and mini small rooms. Even though it might look messy but it reminds me of the restaurants in Japan.
I won’t be listing the prices of the food as many restaurants raised their prices in the past few months due to inflation. It is happening not just in Malaysia but around the world due to inflation of raw material.
Here are the food the I ordered for dinner with family at Koyaku Japanese Dining & Grill Faber Tower Taman Desa.
Minced potato with vegetables
Unagi and Mango Reverse Roll
Sliced fresh salmon on rice
Teppanyaki grilled salmon
Deep fried boneless chicken with salad
Unagi and vegetables with eggs on rice
Japanese Style Garlic Fried Rice
I won’t be reviewing each and every dishes. What you need to know is they use real wasabi and you can easily tell by the fibres. Real wasabi is very expensive compare to the generic powder version.
Most of the food is up to expectation. The teppanyaki here comes in good portion as some restaurants out there offer more beansprout and vegetables.
The kids enjoyed the garlic fried rice as well as the Unatama don. The Malaysian roll is delicious while the Tori Karaage is crispy and tender in texture. Sashimi is very fresh and it is very satisfying.
Overall, Koyaku Japanese Dining & Grill Faber offers good quality Japanese food with service. Please book your table as it is fully booked during weekend and public holidays.
