You probably watched the viral video of the Nasi Lemak Wrapped with Egg Omelet in Kajang by the famous Youtuber. Honestly, my wife went there to try it and she thought it is good. However, I never been there but I accidentally had Nasi Lemak Wrapped with Egg Omelet in Johor Bahru.
This comes as a surprise as I never expected to have Nasi Lemak Wrapped with Egg Omelet in Johor Bahru. This is actually from their breakfast menu at Dine @ Eight at Holiday Inn Johor Bahru City Centre.

The nasi lemak is cooked by Executive Chef Aidi Yusman and it was pretty good. You can call this a gimmick as it is the same as the usual nasi lemak and wrapped with egg omelet.
Then you add the condiments like peanuts, fried anchovies, cucumber and sambal. You can also add fried chicken and other food you can find at the morning buffet.
I am not sure why no one renamed this as Nasi Lemak Pattaya as the concept is the same. I love egg omelet so this version of nasi lemak is perfectly fine for me. The sambal is spicy so it gives me that ‘kick’ every bite.
