Here is something interesting to share for our readers. Do you know that 230k Malaysians Visit Thailand in July 2022 alone. That makes it a total of 425k Malaysians visit Thailand in 2022. The numbers are given by Tourism Authority of Thailand Malaysia as Malaysia is the tourist king of Thailand.

For your information, Thailand has welcomed 3.3 million foreign tourists between January and July this year, according to the Tourism Authority of Thailand.

There are 1.9 million tourists travelled via Bangkok Suvarnabhumi airport, 600k tourists travelled via Phuket Airport while 190k tourists travelled via Bangkok Don Mueang International Airport.

Malaysia has beat India as the tourist king of Thailand. 425k Malaysians visited Thailand while 337k from India. The other countries include Singapore, UK and Laos.

While about 1.9 million tourists travelled through Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi airport, about 600,000 travelled through Phuket International Airport. About 190,000 people travelled through Bangkok’s Don Mueang International Airport.

In July, the Tourism and Sports Ministry said it expected about 9.3 million foreign visitors to arrive in the ‘Land of Smiles’ in 2022. The kingdom saw 1.9 million foreign tourists arrive from January to June 28. This raked in about 114 million baht in tourism revenue.

We are planning to visit Thailand again very soon and hopefully there will be 1 million Malaysians visit Thailand this year! For now, there are 230k Malaysians Visit Thailand in July 2022
