Just saw something interesting so time to do a quick sharing. For those who didn’t know, I joined many Facebook Groups for tips and information for my food and travel stories. If you ask me the best Facebook Group for Japan, it will be Road to Japan and most of the contents are from Malaysians for Malaysians. Just now, someone shared that TNG eWallet Accepted In Some Japan Department Stores.
According to Mr Muneer, TNG eWallet are accepted in some Japan Departmental stores right now. Some of the popular Japanese departmental stores include Yodobashi Camera and BIC Camera.
He has not check other departmental stores yet like Daimaru, Takashimaya, Hankyu and Hanshin. Thus, he mentioned that TNG eWallet is accepted in Japan departmental stores as it is partner to Alipay+.
TNG eWallet mentioned this service called ‘Cross Border Payment Service’ two years ago.
“It is currently only available in Japan & Singapore, and there are plans to roll out this service to other countries too, in the future.”
He didn’t use TNG eWallet so it is uncertain how much is service fee compare to credit card. However, the good news is TNG eWallet Accepted In Japan Department Stores. This means you can top up your TNG eWallet and shop in Japan like a boss.
