This is another hidden gem at Bandar Mahkota Cheras. This is Restoran Y Xiang Chinese Restaurant and we went there recently with our family. We have been visiting different Chinese restaurants in Cheras, Kajang and Semenyih  so remember to follow us.

Restoran Y Xiang Chinese Restaurant is located at 50, Jln Temenggung 17/9, Bandar Mahkota Cheras. It is a simple Chinese restaurant that is often packed with their loyal customers from the surrounding neighbourhood.

Sometimes you don’t need to go to fancy restaurants for good food or those viral restaurants for mediocre food too. There could be good Chinese restaurant in your neighbourhood. Just read the reviews and try your luck.

For dinner of six people, we ordered Sizzling Asam Sotong on Hot Plate, Stir Fried French Beans with garlic, Thousand Island pork, Signature Tofu with Tofu Skin as well as their Signature Pork ribs.

Sizzling Asam Sotong on Hot Plate. This is immense with flavour, spicy and acidic in taste. The Squid is soft in texture and this complements well with rice.

Thousand Island pork is their signature dish. The pork is deep fried to tender texture and coated with the savoury sweet thousand island sauce. The boys fell in love with this.

Signature Pork Ribs is a must order. The meat is tender and the taste is really good. We don’t mind coming back for this.

Signature Tofu with Tofu Skin (taukan), the tofu is silky smooth while the sauce goes well with the rice. This is a good dish for the boys.

Stir Fried French Beans with garlic

Overall, the service is good, food is tasty and prices are very reasonable. Restoran Y Xiang Chinese Restaurant Bandar Mahkota Cheras might not be fancy restaurant but at the end, it is all about the taste of the food. We don’t mind coming back to this restaurant again. Have you tried this?
