Gashapon Bandai Official Shop is opened at IOI City Mall 2 and it is the first in South East Asia. We heard that Gashapon Bandai Official Shop will be opening in Singapore soon.
The Gashapon Bandai Official Shop is located at Lot L3-217, City, IOI City Mall East (2) near GSC cinemas. The outlet is very popular and it is usually packed during peak hours and weekends.
We went there with our boys for their first time experience with Gashapon. Gashapon Bandai Official Shop IOI City Mall 2 Malaysia offers 300 gashapon machines imported from Japan.
There are two token machines and one token is priced at RM 5. Gashapon prices are varies from 4 tokens and above (if not mistaken).
The premium Gashapon is priced at RM 60 each to RM 100 each. Most of the premium Gashapon are animal series with some anime series.
There are also displays showcasing the normal and premium gashapon items you can check out the actual size and quality.
There are couple of sections and it is not just limited to anime only. There are also cute items, keychains as well as animal and insect series.
Our boys loved the gashapons and it can be very addictive. The joy of getting random gashapon can makes you come back for more.
