Asai Bangkok Chinatown Hotel for Smart Travelers
Asai Bangkok Chinatown Hotel for Smart Travelers
This is another hotel we stayed recently in Chinatown Bangkok. If you never heard of Asai Hotels, it is not new Japanese hotel but this is new hotel brand name by the Dusit Hotel of Thailand. Currently there are two Asai Hotel in Bangkok and they are Asai Bangkok Chinatown and Asai Bangkok Sathorn.
We love to stay in Chinatown Bangkok as it is the food playground of city. With the MRT station located within Chinatown means you don’t need to take taxi or grab to this part of Bangkok anymore. With the new developments in Chinatown, it attracts new hotel and that includes Asai Bangkok Chinatown.
The Asai Bangkok Chinatown is located on top of ‘I’m Chinatown’ Shopping Mall and also above the Wat Mangkon MRT Station.
The Asai Bangkok Chinatown is a three star hotel and it runs of the concept for smart travelers similar to Holiday Inn Express or Ibis Hotels. It is meant for smart travelers who are savvy and fast on the go.
The lobby is located on the upper floors of the hotels and it comes with Jam Jam Eatery and Bar as well as the outdoor chilling area.
There is no swimming pool but a good fitness center / gym if you want to work out in the morning before you spend a day out of the hotel.
Let’s talk about the room and please watch the video as it shows the entire walkthrough of the room. The Asai Bangkok Chinatown room is simple and yet it is nice in terms of design and of course the view of the neighbourhood.
What we like about the room is the multi-power adapter, working desk, flat screen TV, 4 pillows, bright room, safe, mini fridge, toilet with bidet and more.
We spent a few days at Asai Bangkok Chinatown and we enjoyed our stay. It is pretty quiet at this hotel and this is a few minutes away from the main Yaowarat road so you missed all the noises.
The breakfast at Asai Bangkok Chinatown comes with a good variety of local and western cuisine. Good enough for you to look forward, every day.
Did we mention the coffee here is really good? What a good way to kick start our stay and holiday in Bangkok.
Since the shopping mall is just below the hotel, there is 7-Eleven, fast food restaurants, retail outlets, pharmacy and more! You can easily get taxi or Grab or the MRT just across the road! It is really convenient to stay this part of Chinatown.
