Nabana no Sato Park of Lights
Nabana no Sato Park of Lights
This is probably one of the main reasons I travelled to Nagoya Japan. Nestled in the heart of Mie Prefecture, Japan, lies Nabana no Sato, a captivating wonderland that transcends the boundaries of seasons. Nabana no Sato is just half an hour away from the city of Nagoya!
More than just a flower park, Nabana no Sato offers a mesmerizing blend of vibrant blooms and spectacular illuminations, creating an unforgettable experience for visitors throughout the year. It is said that Nabana no Sato offers more than 1 million LED Lights in the park.
As dusk descends, Nabana no Sato undergoes a magical transformation. During the winter months (mid-October to early May), the park comes alive with the renowned Nabana no Sato Winter Illumination.
Millions of LED lights weave intricate patterns, transforming the gardens into a dazzling spectacle. Imagine strolling through tunnels of light, marveling at cascading waterfalls of illumination, and witnessing themed areas bathed in a kaleidoscope of colors.
We plan to visit Nabana no Sato during winter as we were traveling in Nagoya. We also went to Shirakawago (on day trip) from Nagoya.
We spent hours exploring Nabana no Sato and despite the busy crowd, we still manage to enjoy ourselves with many great photos.
The tunnel of light is the highlight of Nabana no Sato as you can see many visitors will take photos and videos of the place. It is a simple installation but not many people dare to do a 200m tunnel of light in other parts of the world like Nabana no Sato.
On top of that, there will be different ‘light theme’ show for every year. During our visit, it was the Mount Fuji light show and it changes every season.
There is also a ‘mirror pond’ of the mini forest at the park. You can really take beautiful photos of the trees lit up by the lights.
Prepared to be captivated by the mesmerizing winter illuminations, Nabana no Sato has something to offer every visitor. So plan your trip to this enchanting destination and prepare to be swept away by a dazzling dance of flowers and lights.
