The name Wizards at Tribeca, it sound like a gaming shop but it is actually a restaurant. Nestled in the heart of Kuala Lumpur at Tribeca Serviced Hotel by Millennium, Wizards at Tribeca is a haven for those seeking a delightful culinary and social experience. More than just a restaurant, it’s a place that lives up to its name, transporting you to a realm of wonder with its award-winning coffee, contemporary cuisine, and inviting ambiance.

For your information, we had dinner at Wizards at Tribeca as we stayed at the hotel above. After reading so many great reviews, we wonder will it be a magical feast or another mediocre restaurant.

This is the Dinner SET and we ordered 2 Set Meals of 4 Course Meal.

Food we ordered:

Foie gras crème brulee

Asian style clam mussels pot

Wizard’s truffle fries

Spigola

Wagyu Beef Burger

Pistacho ice cream sandwich

Chocolate mud cake

All of this is for 4 pax, 2 adults and 2 kids.

Foie gras crème brulee (RM 68) – Surcharge RM 30 for Set Meals

Foie-gras with caramelized brown sugar served a side of lightly toasted brioche. I know some people hates foie gras but I like it. I don’t mind paying extra RM 30 for that melt in the mouth foie gras.

Asian style clam mussels pot RM 35, *contains alcohol *removing alcohol is available

Asari clams & mussels braised with garlic, ginger and hua tiao cooking wine with French sourdough. This is Asian flavoured broth and complements well with the sourdough.

Wizard’s truffle fries RM28

Shoestring fries with truffle oil & grated cheese and of course the kids loved this. Fragrant truffle oil with crispy fries.

Palate Cleanser

It is strange they include the palate cleanser as part of the course meal but if you look at the price and the food they offered, no complains!

Spigola RM 78

Pan-Fried Sea Bass served with cherry tomato and potato caponata, lemon butter sauce. To be honest, this is a healthier option than the usual fish and chips. The portion of the sea bass is pretty good and it complements well with the lemon butter sauce.

Wagyu Beef Burger RM 55

Classic grilled sanchoku wagyu burger served on toasted charcoal bun with caramelized onion, garlic, aioli, grilled pineapple & curly fries. Of course, the kids enjoyed this very much.

Pistacho ice cream sandwich (RM 28 for 3 pax)

Pistachio gelato sandwich with genmaicha dacquoise and miso caramel, decorated with genmaicha chocolate and rose petals. This is a generous dessert as it comes with gelato, sandwich as well as caramel! A great dessert for sharing and we enjoyed this.

Chocolate mud cake RM 28

Flourless chocolate mud cake with cacao nibs, topped with dark chocolate glaze, serve with raspberry nama chocolate. This is a satisfying chocolate mud cake with great savoury.
